The V8 features a compacted graphite iron (CGI) block, aluminum cylinder heads, and a single sequential turbocharger with a dual-compressor turbine. It also includes a high-pressure common-rail fuel injection system, piston-cooling jets, and an integrated exhaust gas recirculation system.
